Mr. Larsen joined Cartier Iron as a Chief Executive Officer and a Director on September 24, 2014. Mr. Larsen has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, specializing in corporate finance and management of junior mining companies, raising in excess of C$150 million to date.
Mr. Nagamatsu joined Cartier Iron as Chief Financial Officer in 1997. Mr. Nagamatsu has over 30 years of experience in accounting, management, lending, restructurings and turnarounds. Since 1993, Miles has acted as a Chief Financial Officer of public and private companies primarily in the mineral exploration and investment management sectors. For over 25 years, Mr. Nagamatsu has served as volunteer Chair of the Finance Committee and Director of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and is a Chartered Accountant.
Mr. Estepa joined Cartier Iron as Vice President and Corporate Secretary in 1997. Mr. Estepa has over 19 years of experience with publicly listed companies in the areas of corporate management, development and investor relations and has served as a senior officer and/or director of several publicly traded resource companies. Mr. Estepa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.
Dr. William N. Pearson is a true leader in geoscience. He has over 40 years of direct experience in global mineral exploration and production. Has played an integral role in creating the value that led to successful acquisitions of Desert Sun Mining Corp. by Yamana Gold in 2006 and Central Sun Mining by B2 Gold in 2009. Dr. Pearson was the creator and founding President of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.
Spencer has over 30 years-experience in the exploration sector in Newfoundland and Labrador, Northern Ontario and Quebec with both junior and senior exploration and mining companies including Noranda Exploration Company, BP Selco (Mining Division), Champion Iron, Anaconda Mining ,Marathon Gold, Maritime Gold, Matador Mining, and most recently Cartier Iron Corp. He began his career as a logging geologist on the Duck Pond VMS Deposit, and a mapping geologist in the Buchans Mining Camp. His background also includes 13 years with the Newfoundland Department of Mines and Energy/Natural Resources where he was manager of the Department's Mineral Incentive Program for seven years before returning to the exploration industry and co-forming Silvertip Exploration Consultants Inc.
